Alfombras. Spatial transformations to capture disorders and words. Grown out of the experience of performing songs: they are a scenography, a scenography of the writing that reflects its slippery, fragmentary essence. A space to stand on/in with the text: lyrics for found rugs, reading, lost in thoughts and memories, closer to the floor, woven among and in the ornaments and threats.

I find something very magical about those pieces on the floor. Not sure exactly what it is, but when I step on them I feel like I'm being absorbed into someplace between falling and dreaming. The softness under foot, the spinning round to read, the indistinction. Go figure, but it sure feels good. Thanks for the ride.
